Africa doesn't need Western-style infrastructure playbooks. It needs intelligent leapfrogging that builds on proven continental innovations like M-Pesa and solar microgrids. The continent's greatest competitive advantage isn't catching up to legacy systems, but architecting entirely new paradigms that work for African realities: mobile-first, community-centered, and climate-resilient from day one.
